The Bandages are used to repair pipes with materials like copper, PVC plastic, steel, Cast iron, GRP, ceramic, concrete, lead, hoses from rubber and are -impregnated fibreglass, with a knitted non-woven fibreglass structure, that gives the bandage maximum strength and facilitates repairs on corner joints, elbows and other shaped fittings.

Generally, the recommended pipe repair bandage repair thickness is a minimum of 10 mm or approximately 8-10 wraps around the pipe, but this is an approximation and best referred to the TDS. We recommend the repair extend to between 50-75 mm either side of the damaged area
As soon as the foil bandage packet is opened the bandage will start to cure. The pipe repair bandage has a working life of 4-5 minutes and a full cure time of 30 minutes.
Yes. We supply the large size tape (125 mm x 6000 mm in a double pack) for larger diameter pipes and elbows. Multiple bandages may be required for very large pipes.
Definitely, the pipe repair bandage has a shelf life of approximately 2 years from the date of manufacture, which is located on the exterior packaging. We recommend storing the package in the coolest area of the store at approximately 25°C (77°F) to ensure longevity.
